I personally like the canon camcorders. I have one of my own and it takes some of the best pictures as well as home movies. Does anyone else have one and how was you experience with them? I personally like the editing on the camcorder itself.

I used to have a Canon Camcorder. For a couple years I loved it! Then it started becoming harder and harder to keep the battery charged. I'm sure this was due to the age of the battery and not the camera itself. However, even though I got a new battery for it, finally it stopped working all together. So, for me the Canon didn't have quite as long a life span as I had expected.

Ohh...till now I don't have any camcorder but within next 2 weeks I'll buy one.But I'm confused about the brands.Shall I go for Canon or Sony ?I've heard that Sony is the best in camcorder.I hope all the reply to your threads will be helpful for me to buy the right one.
