Ok, I'm going to ask a question that some of you photography pros will laugh at, but it's only because I honestly don't know. So here goes...The pictures that are taken in professional portrait studios that are primarily black and white, but might have one or two colored items in them, what exactly is that called? I mean the ones where it may be all black and white except for the person's blue hairbow and blue eyes. I know that sounds silly, but I really like these photos and would love to learn how to take them.

I cannot think of them either, but it would be interesting to find out. I love the all black and white photos myself.

I do too. When my daughter was a baby we had her pictures taken so much. I always wanted to do some of the black/white with just a spot or two of color but never got to. My husband and mother always liked the all color photos best so that's what we always got. Now I wish I had gotten even just one session like that with her bright blue eyes being the only area of color in the pictures.

I think there i option in the camera to take the black an white potrait. so if some one really want to take a black and white photograph then he or she might go with that option,
never hesitate to take the most difficult problem

I know my sanyo digital camera had an option to take pictures in both black and white and sepia. However, I have never seen any that had the option to have both black and white and a tiny bit of color in a photo. I would sure love to find one that does.

I guess that technique is called framing. However I am not sure about the answer. You can find the right one by going through the information about photography.
