The fact that a lot of us have never even used PaintShopPro seems to say a lot. I've always had Photoshop by my side, so I had no reason to switch to another program. Given the choice, I don't think I would change.

I also use GIMP. Photoshop is probably the better tool, but you can do with GIMP what you can do with photoshop - at least most of it. I also like the price of GIMP! It is free!!!

I haven’t been able to use Gimp before.  Tell me where I can download Gimp.  I heard many good things about his editing software.  I’m curious enough to try it.

Here's a link to downloading GIMP if you're using windows.

http://www.gimp.org/windows/

GIMP is a great software. But I personally think Photoshop is better. I also had an easier time looking for photoshop tutorials online.

Thanks for the link Gale, I’m currently downloading the software.  There are lots to be downloaded by at least this is free.

I just bought a Photoshop CS 3 but it is defective and cannot be installed on my computer.

I would take photoshop over paint any day. I love it! I was not impressed with paint when I used it. I have never heard of GImp.
