Do any of you have any links to good free online font directories? I'm starting to work on a few new projects and want to have access to a lot of fonts so I'm not limited to using one I'm only partially happy with.
Any suggestions would be great and much appreciated!

Hmm, I normally just google them. There are a large number of sites dovoted to offering fonts for download. Most of the ones I've seen are free, but then there are some you're supposed to pay for. Just google 'free fonts', and you should have a good base to work from :) |

Well, you certainly can find a lot by googling. I have used Themeworld . com to get some free fonts before. They are not organized the best possible way, but they are a lot of fun to browse. The problem then becomes the vast number of different fonts I have collected. :) |

themeworld is ok. I will suggest you to try other search engines as well, along with google also try ask.com hotbot.com etc. The results are different for the same keywords, you may get a nice site. |

Check Fontscape.com. It is a typeface directory that is well organized according to its category. |

I have a friend who uses fonts found at 1001 Fonts. The site has a large selection but, since I haven't tried using anything from the site, be sure to scan for spyware.
BTW, I am not saying they load spyware with your fonts, but it pays to be prudent, these days!
