Lomography's starting to earn a really big crowd. Cameras are cheaper and you don't really have to worry about all the lighting and contrast and stuff. Who does lomography? I was thinking of trying it out. Can anyone give comments on what camera to buy and all?

Well I can tell you one thing, our photo editors will most likely come down on lomographic photo submissions like a medieval dragon. There
IS
a big market for casual shots (Vice Magazine being a flagship of such content), but in the stock photo business you better be pretty brave to market snaps.

Personally, I think lomo is a personal statement. Some people just enjoy snapping away without thinking too much about the technicalities involved in modern photography. I think I want to try it, too, sometime! Gonna borrow my friend's lomo camera to see if lomo is for me.

I wish I could borrow a lomo camera as well. But all my friends who are into photography don't really like lomography. They think it defies what photography really is. They have a point though. We should have a "rent-a-camera" kind of thing going on in our country. :P

I remember the first time I saw pictures taken using a lomo camera. The pictures were posted on my cousin's MySpace account. I thought the pictures were really cool. So when he came home for the holidays, I borrowed his camera and took some shots.
