What is your preference digital or film?  I know that they each have their benefits, but it's to each their own when it comes to something like this I think. I prefer digital. If for no other reason then I can actually see my photo after I take it. Also, I can take 500 photos and not have to worry about having to change my film all the time.
So, what do you prefer and why?

I prefer digital too. It's just more convenient to me. I know a lot of people who do their own darkroom/developing like film. But there are so many editing programs now, that you can have a darkroom on your computer.

I also prefer digital as it easy and convenient to use, you can view straight away if you like the photo to keep it of to re-take another. And you can choose which photos specifically to print out should I want to print...

I also like digital camera. I could edit them if I see something wrong in the picture. I could place my picture anywhere else in the world. Like someone have mention before I could see it after I took it.

if you ask that question 5 years ago I could give you a log list why you should stick to film... but unless your a professional going digital is the way to go... 8mil pix and up the pic are almost perfect match to film... and the cost can't be beat.

I like the digital myself. You have more options to choose from when printing and storing your pictures. I think it is easier to download and keep a picture file. I would always suggest however to keep a back up copy of anything on your computer. As you may well know they have a mind of there own sometimes.

I definitely prefer digital over film. It is so much more convenient to not have to deal with buying film. I think that alot of digital cameras have better picture quality too. The only drawback that I have with digital cameras is that every one I've had has drained the batteries so quickly.

I still use films every now and then. However, I think that it's more practical to use digital. Like when taking lots of photos at a given time. You do not have to worry about changing films every once in a while. Or, you can immediately edit or delete photos that you do not like.

I still have my old film camera too. I do not know why I have kept it so long. My husband says it is now a collectors item. I never use it though.
