| I was working on an average project (not too big not too small) and my boyfriend walked by and made fun of me for having so many layers. I'm the queen of creating new layers for almost every tiny thing I do. I just find it easier to edit and know exactly where each piece is. So I was wondering if anyone else creates a ton of layers, and if you don't, do you find yourself less organized?

| | None. LOL because I just dont know how to use them or what to do with them. I have so much to learn. The layers just throw me off. | | | |

| | lots of layers, it not only helps to be organized by changes can be made in a more efficient manner =) lol it somehow makes it easier to edit, especially when there's a lot to do, putting them all in one layer makes it so cumbersome | | | |

| | I use a lot of layers as well. Generally, I add one layer for every new thing I do. So if ever I make a mistake, I can easily delete just that layer and not include everything I've done after it. Though, when I'm satisfied with my work, I group the layers, merge them then change the file name. So the next time I access my work, I won't be overwhelmed by the number of layers I made. | | | |

| I also like to work with many layers because I believe that
you could make it more beautiful when it has lots of layer. Layers can bring the best out of a project.

| | agreed. having layers makes the job easier because if there's a change you want to revert back to or remove, it would be easier to modify a layer rather than the whole picture or to start again from scratch.. that can be a very painful process | | | |

| I find it hard working with layers and am especially guilty of trying to adjust something only to discover I'm on the wrong one! I am just learning though and live in hope that it'll get easier over time. Honestly, I get confused with just half a dozen. How people manage to work with twenty or more amazes me! They have my utmost respect.
How do you keep track on what's on each layer easily with so many? That's what I'd like to know please. :) Any tips on managing them would be great. Thanks!
And mariawicz, I'm curious as to how many layers you had!
