| Hey all,
Are there any set characteristics that classify a font as Web 2.0 style? You can search google for "free web 2.0 fonts" and there are some results that display, but what really makes a web 2.0 font? Does the font need to be bold, strong, crisp, sharp, all at the same time?
One site displays different fonts, but it only talks about them being popular...

| Good question, webavt! I was wondering the same thing myself about what defines a Web 2.0 look. The one thing I'd say I noticed once I started paying attention is that a lot of the fonts are curvy. There doesn't seem to be many harsh or angular ones on Web 2.O sites.
VAG Rounded's a popular choice. It makes me want to say "groovy, man" because it reminds me of the flower power era. Why, I don't know but it does! :) This is one article I'd bookmarked recently which you might find it a bit more helpful than the other one.
